Kia unveils facelift version of 2024 Sonet | Auto & Travel News

Kia on Thursday unveiled the facelift of the Sonet with bookings to commence from December 20.
Besides a host of design changes, the facelift version gets a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. However, it retains the large centrally mounted 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, below which is a new small screen for displaying climate control info, along with two lines of toggles switches for HVAC controls, traction and drive modes.
On the outside, the car gets all new LED headlights, which are wrapped around by the Daytime Running Lights. The Sonet facelift also gets a redesigned bumper and new 16-inh alloy wheels.

The powertrain options continue to be the same — a 1.2-liter four-cylinder and a 1.0 T-GDi (turbocharged gasoline direct injection) petrol engines, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
The turbo-petrol and diesel engines retain the 6-speed iMT, but the 6-speed manual gearbox has been re-introduced on the diesel. The turbo-petrol and diesel engines also get a 7-speed dual-clutch and 6-speed torque converter automatic options, respectively.
The car retains all the variants that were already on sale — Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line variants which is further split HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX and X-Line.
