Salman Khan rushes to Mumbai hospital as Salim Khan admitted to ICU | Bollywood News

Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, known for writing some of the most popular Hindi films from the 1970s including Sholay, Deewar, Trishul, has been hospitalised in Mumbai. Salim is the father of popular Hindi film actor Salman Khan.
Salman was recently exiting Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai as he visited his 90-year-old father. As per PTI, Salim Khan is in the ICU. “He (Salim Khan) has been admitted to Lilavati hospital this morning. He is in the ICU,” an insider told PTI.
The writer, along with Javed Akhtar, is known for the creation of the’ angry young man’, which was often portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan. After his separation with javed, Salim went on to write films like Naam.
Salim Khan is married to Salma Khan, with whom he has four children – Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail and Alvira. He then married Helen, with whom he has one daughter – Arpita.
