Realme P4 Power confirmed to launch on January 29 with massive 10,001mAh battery | Technology News

In the last year, smartphone batteries have gotten a lot bigger, with new flagships featuring 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh silicon-carbon batteries. Now, Chinese phone maker realme upped the ante with the P4 Power. a mid-range device that will have a 10,001mAh battery.
In a post on X (previously Twitter), the company announced that the Realme P4 Power will be making its debut in India on January 29. In line with previous reports, the company also confirmed that the phone will offer 1.5 days of usage and more than 31 days of standby time on a single charge.
The Realme P4 Power also happens to be the company’s first phone to get the TransView design look, which has a dual-tone finish on the back. While the bottom half has a matte texture, the top area sports a semi-transparent look with a “Precision Energy Loop” element on the borders of the camera island.

According to the Realme P4 Power’s microsite on Flipkart, the phone will have a 144Hz screen with 1.5K resolution and 6,500 nits of peak brightness. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, Realme claims that the P4 Power will also pack in a HyperVision AI+ chip for smoother motion, enhanced clarity and improved visuals.
Running on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 out of the box, the P4 Power will get three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. The company added that a limited batch of the smartphone will come with a special battery warranty, under which the battery will be replaced free of charge if its health drops below 80% in the first four years.
On the back, the phone will have a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera alongside an ultra-wide sensor. The phone is also said to have another sensor, but it might a 2MP macro camera. The 10,000mAh battery will support 80W wired and 27W reverse wired charging, enabling users to easily charge other smartphones. It weighs 219 grams and will be available in three colourways- TransSilver, TransOrange, and TransBlue.
