BEWARE!!! Our office received information that a company calling themselves “Road Master’s Paving” has been soliciting business to pave driveways in Jefferson County. This company DOES NOT have a business license to operate in Jefferson County. They claim to be working on the US Hwy 1 project and have “leftover” asphalt. They even quoted a resident $2,000 to $2,500 to pave his driveway. After the job was completed, they told the homeowner that he owed them $21,800. If you have contact with this “company”, please call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office-Georgia. We would like to meet these gentlemen. They were last seen driving a silver GMC 2500 and a black GMC 2500 pick-up truck with decals on the side.
