BEWARE!!! Our office received information that a company calling themselves “Road Master’s Paving” has been soliciting business to pave driveways in Jefferson County. This company DOES NOT have a business license to operate in Jefferson County. They claim to be working on the US Hwy 1 project and have “leftover” asphalt. They even quoted a resident $2,000 to $2,500 to pave his driveway. After the job was completed, they told the homeowner that he owed them $21,800. If you have contact with this “company”, please call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office-Georgia. We would like to meet these gentlemen. They were last seen driving a silver GMC 2500 and a black GMC 2500 pick-up truck with decals on the side.

Do not do business with “next gen drivetrain”. Scammers ,crooks and liars! Bought a supposedly built trans for my truck and it was nothing but stock generics parts that failed . I called them super nice and asked for a build sheet for the bullet proof trans they sold me and they lied to me and blew me off! I was given huge sales pitch and the guy was good and I fell for it. I hope this helps save someone else’s hard earned money!

Empobrece la gestión y nos mantiene en un atraso que han superado países incluso menos desarrollados que nosotros y que entendieron, a tiempo, una verdad elemental del Estado moderno: sin una burocracia profesional, no hay desarrollo sostenible. El clientelismo confunde lealtad con competencia y gratitud política con mérito. El resultado es un aparato público inflado, ineficiente y muchas veces incapaz de responder a las demandas reales de la ciudadanía. Importan no los “compañeritos”, sino el país. Importa que cada puesto sea ocupado por quien mejor pueda desempeñarlo, no por quien más pancartas cargó o más mítines animó. Un Estado exigente requiere funcionarios preparados y una cultura institucional que premie resultados, no obediencias. En ese contexto, la responsabilidad de un mandatario -como el presidente Luis Abinader- no es premiar “canchanchanes” políticos, sino escarbar en la sociedad para identificar talento, experiencia y capacidad. Gobernar es construir equipos de nivel para un país urgido de soluciones. La República Dominicana no necesita más activistas reciclados en burócratas.
